Waumini Co-operative is a National fast growing Sacco based in Nairobi with a membership of over 18,000 spread across Kenya. The Sacco is registered by the Sacco Regulatory Body – SASRA.

We intend to fill the position below on a 2 year renewable contract.

Customer Care Officer

Customer Care Officer Main Duties and Responsibilities
Handling various routine inquiries received by phone and emails from internal and external stakeholder.
Directing queries to relevant officers and ensuring that feedback is promptly given.
Following up on queries directed to relevant officers to ensure that Sacco SLA’s are adhered to.
Giving daily reports to supervisor on matters not closed and other matters that require attention.
Having Knowledge of all products in the Sacco and providing members with product and service information.
Managing and resolving member complaints.
Ensuring professional, timely, accurate and efficient flow of information to and from members and other stakeholders at all times.
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
Follow up on customer interactions and transactions

Minimum Qualifications and Attributes for the Customer Care Kenyan Job
Diploma in customer care/ marketing/administration/ Public relations/ international relations. (Higher Diploma is an added advantage.)
Minimum 2 years working experience in service industry.
Good knowledge of customer care and delivery of good services.
Knowledge of accounting, credit and lending principles and basic computer knowledge.
Knowledge of SACCO practices and legal requirement.
Work accurately with numbers and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Basic listening and telephone communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated track record of team work.
Effective organization, time management and problem solving skills.
Possess a Certificate of Good conduct.
