Being the first point of contact in the implementation of the overall MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) framework of the Innovation to Inclusion (i2i) programme, ensuring data collection processes, analysis and reporting are in line with agreed deliverables. Coordination and relationship management of external evaluators for the timely implementation of extensive baseline and end line evaluation.
Essential requirements
· Education to degree level in a relevant topic or equivalent experience
· Demonstrable experience of designing, developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks and systems for development work.
· Excellent knowledge of MEL methods, theory of change, the logical framework approach and other strategic planning strategies for demonstrating impact
· Demonstrable experience in quantitative and qualitative, participatory research methods and conducting field work
· Data analysis using Excel, SPSS or equivalent programme applying statistical methods and Qualitative software such as Nvivo where applicable working with dataset of 5000+ records
· Experience of using digital and technology-based tools for data collection and of XLS form development or similar
· Experience working with databases (SQL, Access or similar)
· Experience of training others in MEL development and implementation
· Able to work on own initiative and lead others when necessary
· To be prepared to travel, often at short notice, in support of the undertaking of this role
· To have empathy with the values and ethos of Leonard Cheshire Disability
· Lived experience of disability will be an advantage
